FAQs

How do I get started? Book directly here. After booking you'll receive consent and intake forms to complete before our first session. If you're unsure which service is the right fit, we can figure that out together in our first session. I'll always refer you appropriately if something else would serve you better. Our first intake session will be 80-minutes long. The rate is $375. Subsequent sessions can be 50 or 80-minutes long depending on your needs and preferences. If you would do not wish to have an extended intake session, due to finances we can start with a standard 50-minute session. If you would prefer to have an brief introduction call before booking a session you can do so here. My consultation or introduction calls are $25. If we decided to move forward with, the cost of the call will be applied to your first session.

I'm not sure if I need therapy or spiritual consultation. How do I decide? If you're a California resident and you're looking for licensed psychotherapy, book a therapy session. If you're outside California, or you're not looking for a formal therapy relationship, spiritual consultation is the right entry point. Spiritual consultation is not appropriate if you are looking for clinical mental health support. If you're still not sure, just book and we'll figure it out together in the first session.

Are there any clients that you do not work with?
My practice isn't set up to support clients in crisis or those needing a higher level of care. This includes people having frequent suicidal thoughts, engaging in self-harm, experiencing psychosis or mania, or going through acute, destabilizing trauma. I'm also not able to work with clients dealing with heavy substance use or active addiction.

If any of this describes where you're at right now, please know it's not a reflection of your worth or your capacity to heal. It just means you need a level of support I'm not able to provide, and I'd encourage you to seek out a provider or program built for that level of care.

Fit isn't something I decide once and move on from. Even if things feel stable when you first reach out, figuring out whether I'm the right support for you is part of our early work together. If I ever feel that I'm not the right fit, or that you need a different kind of care, I'll bring that up with you as soon as I notice it and help point you toward other options.

What happens after I book? Once you book, you'll receive consent and intake forms to complete before our first session.

What is the fee? $250 for 50 minutes, $375 for 80 minutes. Intake sessions are $375.

Payment is due at the time of service via credit, debit, HSA, or FSA card.

Do you accept insurance? I don't accept insurance for therapy or any other services. For California residents receiving therapy, I can provide a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance provider if you have out of network benefits. Contact your insurance provider before booking to find out if your plan covers out of network mental health services and what your reimbursement rate is.

Do you offer a sliding scale? I do have have sliding scale availability. If my rates are not accessible to you, Open Path Collective is an excellent resource for finding therapists who offer between $40-$80 per session. Working with me in group containers is a more financially accessible option as well.

How does the intake process work for therapy? The first session is a mutual assessment. We're both figuring out if we're a good fit. The first four sessions of therapy are part of that process. I'll be getting to know you, and what you're looking for. You'll be getting a sense of who I am and how I work. If at any point I'm not the right fit, I'll provide appropriate referrals.

How often will we meet? All new therapy clients start with weekly sessions. Some clients also come twice a week for a period of time when they're in an especially active or intensive phase of their work. After an initial period, biweekly sessions are typically available. If you are interested in combining services we can do that. On rare occasion, I do have ability for biweekly clients, after a few initial sessions.

How long does therapy take? As long as it needs to. Most of my clients work with me long term. Some come for a specific season and move on. Some come back across different periods of life. There's no right answer. It depends on you and what you're working with.

If you're looking to dive deep in a shorter period of time, I also offer Therapy Intensive — a one or two day virtual experience designed for focused, concentrated depth work without a long term therapy commitment. Learn more here.

What is the difference between 50-minute and 80-minute sessions? Standard sessions are 50 minutes and happen weekly. An 80-minute session gives more time to settle in and go deeper. It's a good fit if you find 50 minutes goes by before you've fully landed, or if you're in a particularly active or layered period of work.

What other services do you offer? Outside of therapy and spiritual consultation, I offer:

  • Astrology Reading — a 75-minute deep dive into your natal chart, current transits, karmic patterns, and ancestral themes

  • Astrology Coaching — ongoing work with your chart over time. Astrology is woven into all of my work. Astrology coaching is specifically for those who want to focus exclusively on astrology without the other elements of my practice.

  • Dagara Divination — ancestral guidance through the Dagara stick divination tradition

  • Therapy Intensive Retreat — a one or two day virtual retreat for deep, focused work

  • Therapist Consultation & Mentorship — for therapists and healers integrating spirituality and astrology into their practice

  • The Mystical Therapist School — courses and training for therapists building soul-led practices (under construction)

Do you offer in-person sessions? Not at this time. All sessions are held via telehealth. I occasionally offer in-person group offerings. In 2027, I will offer in-person therapy intensives in Sacramento, California.

I already have a therapist. Can I still work with you? Yes! Many of my clients will see me for other services such as ancestral divination, mentorship, therapy intensives, or astrology along side their primary therapist.

Where are you located? I'm based in Sacramento, California. Therapy is available to California residents only. All other services are available to anyone, anywhere.

What is your availability? I generally see clients Tuesday through Thursday from 9am to 3pm. I do not have any availability outside of these times to schedule sessions. I only work with individual adult clients. I do not see families, couples, adolescents, or children.

Do you only work with women? While I primarily work with women, femmes, and female-identifying clients, my practice is inclusive to all genders, sexualities, and identities. I have worked with many men, and I enjoy this work! If you think we might be a good fit, please reach out!

What is your cancellation policy? Cancellations less than 48 hours before your session are charged the full session fee. If you're running late, let me know. If you're more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session is considered canceled. If you need to reschedule, email me as soon as possible and I'll do my best to find another time.

What is a Good Faith Estimate? You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost. Under the law, health care providers are required to give patients who are not using insurance an estimate of expected charges for services, including psychotherapy. You can request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your estimate, you can dispute it.
